Veteran Rhys Drury and rising star Gemma Newbiggin have had a major victory without even getting wet.

The pair have beaten a host of athletic hotties to each claim the title of the Sunshine Coast’s Sexiest Sports Star.
Dicky Beach’s Drury won the poll comfortably ahead of footballer Tyson Holmes and surfer Julian Wilson.
It was a much closer contest in the ladies’ competition, with Gemma polling just a handful more votes than rally star Rebecca Smart.
