WHAT’S THE HEAVIEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE SURF? I’ll be taking that to the grave – it is way too embarrassing. The second heaviest thing was probably when Wes Berg made us do a board paddle from Burleigh to Broadbeach in 10ft cyclone swell. I got stuck in the shark net when the wave I was catching sucked up, exposing the net and my board nose went through it, flipping me over the other side. Worst injuries have been popped ribs, strained ACL, a torn calf muscle and I ripped my two big toenails off. Allira Richardson will have the best tales for this section
APART FROM IRNONMAN RACING, HOW DO YOU EARN A CRUST: Studying a double degree in Business & Law full time at Griffith Uni
IS ANYONE IN YOUR FAMILY FAMOUS: No
DO YOU HAVE ANY FAMOUS FRIENDS: Maybe not as well-known as Oprah, but I think they’re pretty famous.
BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE: Jacob Lollback. Growing up with him was an absolute blessing. Losing him made me realise how much of an impact he had on me both as an athlete and as a person. The way I look at life, people and situations is directly influenced by him, and I will think of him every day for the rest of my life
