HOW MANY YEARS HAVE YOU BEEN IN SURF LIFE SAVING?: 9 years

BEST LEG: Run and board

DO YOU HAVE FAMILY THAT COMPETE TOO (AND IF SO, WHO)?: No

FAVOURITE IRONMAN / IRONWOMAN: Allira Richardson, such an amazing athlete and also made the series at a young age. Has such a great sense of humour and always knows how to make a laugh at training!

FAVOURITE HOME SURF SPOT: Point Cartwright, Sunshine Coast

FAVOURITE FORMAT: The Marathon in Perth (Rd4), I’m really good at long distance races and have recently won the U/19 Coolangatta Gold so I’m really excited by the round

BOARD YOU PADDLE: Dolphin Surf Craft

BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR CAREER: I have always loved being active and my Mum put me into gymnastics when I was two years old because I was always running around and climbing and jumping off things. Competing at state and national level for 6 years I decided to turn to surf lifesaving because of my love for the beach.  Having this career is the ultimate for me as it involves all the things I love such as the ocean, being fit and active, and being willing to do whatever it takes to achieve your goal. Without my mum’s support my whole life, taking me everywhere I needed to go for training I wouldn’t be able to have this career and Michael King has developed me physically and mentally for me to be able to be here today

TOP THREE COMPETITION RESULTS:

  • 1st Coolangatta gold U19 team
  • 1st QLD state endurance
  • Youngest competitor in the 2011/12 Kellogg’s IronMan / IronWoman series

2011/12 SEASON GOALS: Place in the top 15 in each round of the IronWoman series and I would absolutely love to win an individual first place medal at the Australian Titles

DO YOU HAVE ANY SPONSORS (AND IF SO, WHO): Dolphin Surf craft, Aquadive swimwear

APART FROM IRONWOMAN RACING, HOW DO YOU EARN A CRUST? At school

IS ANYONE IN YOUR FAMILY FAMOUS: I wish
