WHAT’S THE HEAVIEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE SURF? In U/15’s I nose-dived my board on this massive wave. The board hit the sand and came back up and hit me in the leg. A very painful and memorable experience. Lesson learnt – move back

IS ANYONE IN YOUR FAMILY FAMOUS? In 1973 and 1974 my mother Linda Young represented Australia and the World Swimming titles and Commonwealth games. She won silver and bronze at the 1974 Commonwealth Games.
